Challenge
Quantum Health was an innovative startup building a consumer health testing platform where they can receive in-store consultations, perform at-home tests, and receive results on their phone or through the mail. As the Design Lead, I needed to work with strategy and technical teams with a design approach to deliver great product, branding, and health experiences
Approach
Conducted field research to understand the challenges of consumers, health consultants, and in-store constraints
Worked with business, marketing, bio-sciences, and development to understand needs and constraints
Designed and developed products and branding for a variety of applications
Outcome
Deployed to over 50,000 users
Brand identity and messaging creating a consumer-friendly image that was approachable and understandable
Seamless physical and digital experience for clinicians and customers
Service Map
I had to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for our target user, the aging population is rural and urban China.
Research
I conducted extensive customer research throughout the journey. This included observational research on our in-store experience, sample collection process, and staff experience.
Prototyping
Various fidelity prototypes were created for each experience point for both physical and digital that were tested throughout the design process.
Test Report
I designed data visualization to help patients understand the meaning of certain values and markers
The test kit design applied company branding while organizing components in a clear way. Visual instructions made the process clear.
I worked with a factory to produce the kiosk that was flexible for a variety of environments and store spaces.
I worked with our leadership and an agency to set brand guidelines. I then used them to develop design marketing materials for digital and print.
